Meghana Shukla earns internationally fame as inernational Millet cooking expert, pursuing farmers for the farming of millets to save water

Meghana Shukla is an internationally recognised millet cooking expert and advisor. She is creating awareness about the environmental and health benefits of ancient Indian millets like kodo, kutki, Makra, kangni & Sama. She is teaching how to cook with these millets. Meghana is creating a market for these millets in rural and urban areas. Meghana’s aim is to brink back agricultural practice where farming can be done by using very less water. She is educating and encouraging farmers to grow these millets. With huge health benefits which these millets provide, Meghana is promoting these to be a staple diet in our daily life and not as alternative as it is the best solution for our health problems.

• Awarded National Innovative Excellence Award in Dehradun by Agriculture Minister of Uttarakhand for promoting millets for water conservation, agriculture and health purposes.
•Trained the chefs of Raj Bhavan (Governor House) Gujarat.
. Lead team member of Kheri Virasat Mission, Punjab & Haryana in promoting millets.
. State Council Member of food and nutrition division of Women’s Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WICCI).
. Lead member of food committee of Organic Farmers Association of India for organising national organic trade fair.
. hosted multiple Millet cooking sessions in Mumbai, Delhi, Gurgaon,Kolkata, Bilaspur, Punjab Ahmedabad and Indore
• Associated with farmers cooperatives to train and provide seeds to farmers and tribals.
