BSF suspects flying object near Int’l border, recover 3 narcotic packets, one weapon during search operation
Amritsar, September 19, 2022: On the intervening night of 18-19 September, BSF troops deployed on border and depth areas heard buzzing sound of suspected flying object coming from Pakistan to India side and after a while returning to Pakistan side. Depth deployed troops also observed suspected light (radium type) and heard sound of dropping something inside farming field near village Dhanoe Kalan in Amritsar district.
During the course of action, BSF troops fired towards the sound of suspected flying object during its incoming and outgoing.
Further, during search, BSF troops recovered 3 packets of white coloured substance suspected to be narcotics (gross wt – 2.570 kgs) alongwith one Pistol, one magazine and eight rounds from the farming field at village – Dhanoe Kalan.
Vigilant BSF troops, once again foiled the nefarious attempt of anti – national elements to smuggle contrabands using drones. BSF is committed in fight against drugs, said BSF official.
